Our head office is at Baltic Chambers in Glasgow, a welcoming, irreverent, free-thinking city with a determinedly international outlook.

We also have bases in London at Somerset House and in Berlin at Lost But Found studios, owned by multi-award award winning Scottish artist Douglas Gordon.

Freedom strive to be part of all the right industry conversations, but not to be constrained by cronyism or group think. We welcome fresh voices and perspectives from all of the UK and beyond.

Freedom seek to create cinematic, highly entertaining and inclusive shows for big audiences, which in some tiny way will make the world a better place.

We love soulful character-led storytelling, mainly contemporary and with something to say. A sprinkling of wit won't go amiss, contrarians welcome.

In 2022 Freedom were invested in by Channel 4 Indie Growth Fund, and in 2023 we signed a first look deal with All3 Media.

100% of that investment has gone into developing a slate of brilliant shows.

Freedom are working with some of the most exciting, up-and-coming showrunners, writers and talent from Scotland, the UK and beyond, alongside some more established names.

Many of our projects now have award-winning directors and major on-screen talents attached.
